After the publication of this article, partial duplication of images within Figure 7 was identified by a reader between the miR-126 + mimic + wortmanin panel and the inhibitor-NC panels. When asked to comment on this, the corresponding author stated that none of the original data underlying the results presented in this article was available for review. As the concerns raised about the figures can not be addressed, the article has been retracted.
