All manuscripts submitted to Cellular Physiology and Biochemistry undergo an initial editorial screening prior to peer review, followed by evaluation by international experts in the field. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent experts. The peer review process is single-blinded as reviewers are anonymous to the authors. Reviewers are asked to respond in a timely manner. Editors and reviewers apply the highest scientific publishing standards.
